The Experience
Photography is more than simply taking pictures — it’s about preserving the emotion, connection, and intentional details that define your story.
Whether I’m documenting a wedding day, creating imagery for a growing business, or capturing meaningful milestones, my approach is grounded in preparation, presence, and refined storytelling.
A Guided, Natural Approach
I understand that being in front of the camera can feel vulnerable. My role is to guide you with clarity and calm confidence so you never feel unsure of what to do.
I offer direction when it’s needed and space when it’s not — allowing moments to unfold naturally while ensuring you always look your best. The result is imagery that feels effortless, authentic, and elevated.
Story-Driven Imagery
Every couple, every family, every entrepreneur has a distinct story.
I don’t simply document events — I preserve emotion, movement, and the subtle in-between moments that often mean the most.
From the anticipation before walking down the aisle to the quiet exchanges throughout the day, I focus on creating photographs that feel timeless and true.
Intentional Details & Professional Care
With experience in both film and digital photography since 2018, I’ve developed a strong understanding of light, composition, and visual balance.
Beyond the camera, I prioritize thoughtful communication, timeline guidance, and a seamless client experience. Whether it’s the glow of golden hour, the elegance of a wedding venue, or the polished presence of a brand session, every detail is approached with intention.
The Legacy
At its core, my work is about preserving legacy — not just how a moment looked, but how it felt.
Years from now, I want you to revisit your images and be transported back to the emotion, the connection, and the significance of that season of life.
Let’s create something lasting.

FAQ
01. How do we book you for the wedding?
Once we’ve discussed all the details of your wedding day and finalized your coverage needs, I’ll send you a contract and invoice. To officially reserve your date, a 20% non-refundable retainer is due at booking, with the remaining balance due no later than two weeks before your wedding.
Payments can be made by card (with a 3.25% processing fee) or through Zelle/Venmo to avoid the extra fee. Once your contract is signed and the retainer is paid, your date is officially secured and I’ll be all set to capture your big day!

02. Do you travel for destination weddings?

Yes, absolutely! I love capturing love stories in new places. For weddings outside of my local area, an additional travel fee will be added to your wedding package to cover expenses such as transportation and lodging. I’ve had the joy of photographing weddings in South Lake Tahoe, Cool, Modesto, San Francisco, Novato, Petaluma, Point Reyes, Calistoga, Winters, Morgan Hill, Sweden and more. I’ll provide a custom travel quote based on your location so everything is clear up front.

03. How do you handle family photos on the wedding day?

I know how important family photos are, so I make sure they’re organized, efficient, and stress-free. Before your wedding, I’ll send you a questionnaire where you can list the family groupings that are most meaningful to you. On the day of, I’ll work from that list and help direct everyone so we get through them smoothly, while still keeping the mood fun and relaxed.
Depending on your timeline and preferences, we can plan to capture a good amount of family photos before the ceremony. This opens up more time for you and your partner to enjoy cocktail hour and mingle with your guests. In the end, it’s all about what feels right for your day—I’ll adapt to your vision and make sure the moments that matter most are documented.

04. DO YOU OFFER ENGAGEMENT SESSIONS?

Yes! For any wedding package that is 6 hours or longer, I include a one-hour engagement session at no additional cost. It’s a great way for us to get to know each other, help you feel comfortable in front of the camera, and capture beautiful photos you can use for save-the-dates or just to celebrate this special season.

05. WILL YOU BE THE ONE PHOTOGRAPHING OUR WEDDING?

Yes! When you book with Stephanie Ferrari Photography, you’re booking me, Stephanie. For larger weddings or when a second angle is needed, I bring along one of my trusted second shooters, Shaun Samuels or Carina Mendoza, who I’ve worked with for years. This ensures we don’t miss a single important moment.

06. CAN WE ADD EXTRA HOURS TO OUR PACKAGE?

Of course! Every wedding day is unique, and sometimes the celebration runs longer than expected. Extra hours can be added to any package at an additional hourly rate, and this can be decided ahead of time or even on the day of the wedding if needed.
