My Story
Born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden, I grew up embracing a unique blend of cultures. As the middle child of three girls, I was immersed in Swedish traditions while also experiencing the warmth of my mom’s Filipino heritage—especially through her home-cooked meals. Sweden will always be home in my heart, and every now and then, when I’m feeling nostalgic, you might just find me wandering the aisles of IKEA, indulging in a plate of Swedish meatballs.
My Journey into Photography
My love for photography began in high school when I discovered film photography. With access to a fully equipped darkroom, I spent countless hours developing film and watching images come to life. But it wasn’t until my daughter started kindergarten that I picked up a camera again—this time, a digital one gifted by my older sister. Learning everything from scratch, with YouTube as my guide, I practiced tirelessly, capturing moments for friends and family.
Everything changed when my dear friend and fellow photographer, Shaun Samuels, invited me to second shoot a wedding with him. By the second wedding, I knew—I wanted to be a lead wedding photographer. I fell in love with love itself—the raw emotions, the fleeting moments, the stories that unfold in front of my lens. Since then, I’ve specialized in wedding and family photography, while also expanding into branding, headshots, and real estate photography. Capturing authentic connections and preserving memories through my lens is truly my passion.
When I’m not behind the lens or managing social media for local small businesses, I’m a wife, a mom of two amazing kids, and a proud pet parent to two Yorkies and two Bengal cats. At home in Discovery Bay, you’ll often find me cooking up new recipes or indulging in my favorite pastime—binge-watching shows and movies.
I’m a die-hard Friends fan (could I BE any more obsessed?), love Seinfeld, The Vampire Diaries, The Office, and anything in The Walking Dead universe. If it’s Taylor Sheridan, I’ve watched it—Yellowstone, 1883, 1923, Mayor of Kingstown, Tulsa King, and counting! I’m also a huge Marvel fan—Iron Man, Spider-Man (Tom Holland and Andrew Garfield, of course!), and Black Panther are at the top of my list.
Photography is my passion, but storytelling—whether through images, film, or even food—is at the heart of who I am. I can’t wait to capture your story!
Deeply Rooted in the Community I Serve
Beyond the camera, I am deeply involved in the local community that I’m so proud to call home.
I serve on the board of Delta Networking Partners, where I collaborate with other business owners to support, educate, and elevate one another. I’m also a proud member of the Oakley Chamber of Commerce, continuing to build meaningful relationships with small businesses throughout East Contra Costa County.
As a preferred vendor at Brownstone Gardens and Club Los Meganos, I have the privilege of working alongside some of the most talented wedding professionals in Northern California — serving couples at two of the most beautiful venues in our area.
Giving back is incredibly important to me. I regularly donate my services to local fundraisers, nonprofit events, and community initiatives because I truly believe in supporting the families and businesses that support me.
This isn’t just where I work — it’s where I’ve built relationships, raised my family, and created lasting connections. Being part of this community is one of the greatest honors of my career.
